We have a heart for missions.
The Great Commission commands all believers to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:16). It is with that obligation in mind that we, as a fellowship, are dedicated to enthusiastically supporting US and World Missions. We eagerly accept the biblical mandate to reach the lost with the good news of Jesus Christ. This mandate includes not only those who are living close by, but also to those in faraway lands who have never even heard the name of Jesus. From supporting church planting in Uruguay, to ministry to immigrant families in New York City; from China to the Netherlands; and from Turkey to Ecuador, Brookfield First supports missionaries and mission’s organizations on five continents.
Haiti Operation Hope
Together with 6 of our sister churches, Brookfield First has been involved in Haiti Operation Hope since 2014, bringing the hope of the gospel and practical assistance to the people of Haiti. During that period we have participated in 8 missions trips to the mountain community of Zorange, about an hour from Port Au Prince. Together we have raised funds and built a church that seats 200 people, a home for the pastor of the church, and a medical clinic that houses resident medical personnel. In addition, we have drilled two water wells, one on the church property, and one for the community.
